AutoRun

Disable AutoRun (AutoPlay) on all kinds of drives.

  1. Run RegEdit
  2. HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\HonorAutorunSetting = 0x1
  3. HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\NoDriveTypeAutoRun = 0xFF
  4. HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\NoDriveTypeAutoRun = 0xFF

  1. Download NoDriveTypeAutoRun.reg
  2. Add to the registry

  4. Security Tab
    • Internet
    • Click: Default Level (reset all zones to their default levels)
